Translation has begun, encoding has begun… apparently the combined version is going to be better this week than last week.
UPDATE 4/25/2009 @ 7:37 EST
- Prelim translation #1 is done, primary translator is currently listening to opera. We are classy as fuck.
- Bandai is silly as hell (I get to update this to FUCKING BANDAI tag now, wow!). There is some frankly ZANY differences between the BC version and the TV aired version. This includes having a line on the BC version being cut in the TV version, but the video for the part being still there. Meaning instead, there’s just music and action, but no dialogue. In addition, check this out:

TV Top, Bandai Bottom. BANDAI IS MONOPOLIZING THE SHAKES!
UPDATE 4/25/2009 @9:53 PM EST
- Translator is done waxing classical, is now working. Encoder is apparently on-off working on the raw right now; the combination makes encoding take longer since he has to do manual combination, but it’s well worth the effort, we feel.
- I’m off to play L4D, I’ll check in with the status later
UPDATE 4/26/2009 @7:58 PM EST
- Translation is complete, encoding is complete, editing and timing has begun (meaning myself). No ETA at all.
- I have a mondo-sized headache right now, which is sort of slowing the efforts.
UPDATE 4/27/2009 @9:16 PM EST
- ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
- Okay, well, due to some bad errors, the timed file is going back to our translators for translation checking/ editing. Then it’ll go back to me for editing before heading to QC. Sorry for the delay again, the combined material thing is a real drag sometimes. Also, I’m going into exam week so there’s that too (it shouldn’t affect the release next week though~)
