#44. Let's Finish This
Let's go Eye-boy!
Music: Decisive Battle - Vs. N
Choro Notes: Teravolt is the same as both Reshiram's Turboblaze and the Mold Breaker ability.
Choro Notes: Fusion Bolt is one of Zekrom's two signature moves. It's a powerful, physical Electric-type move. If Fusion Bolt is used after Reshiram's signature moves, Fusion Bolt will double in power. The same is true for Reshiram's Fusion Flare if it follows one of Zekrom's signatures.
Shakes! You resist electricity, hold on for a second!
Well . . . technically that's convenient, I guess.
Did it jam that spike into your own head?! That . . . gives me a stupid idea!
. . . Yea . . . Huh.
Choro Notes: Giga Impact is a physical version of Hyper Beam. Hits hard, takes a turn to recharge.
QUICK, WHILE HIS DEFENSES ARE DOWN!
. . . Oh.
Don't taunt me and my cactus!
Shakes you are just taking these Giga Impacts like a champion!
Hrmmm. . .
Choro Notes: I am so glad that missed.
Well you can take a Giga Impact at least, now! You know what time it is, Shakes!
FRIENDSHIP AND DANCING AND EASTERN ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE WON THE DAY.
Why would you! You love to dance!
I am so proud of you right now, Shakes.
Choro Notes: Vanilluxe is the final stage of Vanillite. It's. . . basically just two Vanillish's stuck together.
Choro Notes: Hail damages all combatants each turn unless they're Ice-types. Vanilluxe's Ice Body ability actually has it restore HP each turn!
Easy enough! Thanks Geartie!
Wait . . . Why is his Klinklang so fast?
. . . and why can it learn Flamethrower?!
AH! You tricked me!
Wrong move stupid!
Our long national nightmare is over.
N, did you copy me?!
Oh yeah . . .
You have this!
This one must be real!
I'm not sure why or how this works but I'll accept it!
Hrm . . .
QUICK, SPIN COUNTER CLOCKWISE TO IT.
Oh now you got it comin'
Choro Notes: The extra increase in damage over Return really isn't worth the recoil . . .
It'll be ok! My friends will share their courage with you!
Look, N. You can't win this.
ONE PERSON BEATING ANOTHER DOES NOT MAKE THEIR IDEAS WRONG.
Music: Unwavering Emotions
the world creates a chemical reaction."
Music: Ghetsis's Designs
Harmonia with me?"
who knows nothing but Pokémon. . . "
Jeez . . .
Old man, I've already wrecked two legendary dragons today. Whatcha wanna do, huh? Whatcha wanna do?
Please tell me you two saw this coming. We've all fought Team Plasma.
Damn, just undercut my accomplishments, sure.
Not as long as I have these guys with me!
Music: Vs. Ghetsis
Choro Notes: Technically you are doing three bosses in a row! Ghetsis is a fuck harder than N is because of one specific monster he has . . .
We've got this. This isn't the first time you've faced one of these!
N-nobody's said that before!
Well then I hope you expected this!
Xanadu! You're an astro-pal!
Oh of course you have one of those.
Damn you are getting good use out of that!
Hrrmrmmm . . . .
Yeah keep trying to slash metal!
Choro Notes: I purposely gave Ghetsis a target to use that Full Restore on. If possible you really want to get him to use it early.
C'mon! You can't just keep slashing!
Choro Notes: Metal Burst is basically Mirror Coat and Counter in one! It flat out hits for 1.5x the damage the user was dealt to it this turn! However, you have to be slower than the target. This move doesn't have the decreased priority like its sister moves.
I trust you Hansel!
. . . is THAT, a legendary dragon?!
Choro Notes: Hydreigon
Hydreigon are the final stage of Deino. They're big, angry Dark-type Dragons. Ghetsis's is brutal and can wreck both Zekrom and Reshiram.
Xanadu, you held on just to get that off, huh?
I need some really muscle for this one . . .
Choro Notes: Ghetsis's Hydreigon has pretty good type coverage. On top of Dragon Pulse, Surf and Fire Blast, he's also packing Focus Blast: a Fighting-type move.
HEY SIX EYES.
. . . oh no.
Shakes maybe you had better-USE YOUR POINTY THINGS!
Holy crap that worked?
Choro Notes: Rain has a few things it does. One is it strengthens water-type moves and weakens fire-type moves. Another is it gives Thunder 100% accuracy. You would think that Seismitoad would do something more but . . . yeah Eelektross doesn't have Thunder. In fact the only effect Rain has with Eelektross's moveset is it weakens Flamethrower. Rain exists only to boost Hydreigon's surf, activate Seismitoad's Swift Swim and power up Muddy Water. And . . . that's it. Ghetsis only has one monster weak to Fire so there's not even that!
Choro Notes: But Eelektross does have this! Fuck!
Well, that hurt.
That seems to keep happening!
Hmm . . .
Hang on there Xanadu! Just fend off its afro!
That should let us get some hits in!
Oh . . .
Your world is about to be really small.
Perfect new world same as perfect old world!
Jeez, dude. . .
Ooh, dang Cheren!
The way I see it, is maybe we're all right. 'Cause I learned a lot over the past year. And really as long as you have friendship and ideals and truth you're never really . . . disabled as long as . . . humanity. uh. Wait. Hold on.
"Good effort, Haley. Here. Here is a shiny nickel."
. . . stupid orphans.
because your heart was really inspired."
That's important, wouldn't you say?"
to reject each other."
Ok, ok, ok. As the only other person here with a legendary dragon Pokémon-
and helped one another."
and were surrounded by friends . . . "
Well, at least I'm champion now.
"Well, no. See when you left the Pokémon League and went into N's Castle. Technically, you disqualified yourself."
. . .
"Better luck next time!"
Choro Notes: You know the drill: this isn't at all true! Especially for this game!
