Chapter 47: Oh Hey, a Little Backstory. Granted It's at the End, but Hey. Whatcha Gonna Do

How many islands are left? One?

I have no idea who the hell you are and if you ain't Mario or Link, I sure as hell don't give a rat's ass.

Eew, definitely not a fan. I mean, Juggling?

Ok, so you juggle explosive electric balls. Big deal.

Ok, so you juggly explosive bagworms. I'm still not impressed.

Ehhh. . .

Pokémon Rangers. I guess that's a plus for this island.

Pfff, ahahahahahaha. Ok, ability to not do anything outside without breaking a rule. That's a minus.

D'aww, he's got the same pattern as Otoro goin' around him

#246. Larvitar J:Yogiras G:Larvitar F:Embrylex

Rock Skin Pokémon
Height: 2'00" Weight: 158.7 lbs
Habitat: Mountains Types:
Larvitar is born deep under the ground. To come up to the surface, this Pokémon must eat its way through the soil above. Until it does so, Larvitar cannot see its parent's face. This species pupates after eating enough dirt to make a mountain.

I'd say that's a plus. These lil' guys are

Hey, one of those guys. And this one's not dead!

Grave robbers that managed to KO some of my shit... That's a minus.

#105. Marowak J:Garagara G:Knogga F:Ossatueur

Bone Keeper Pokémon
Height: 3'03" Weight: 99.2 lbs
Habitat: Mountains Types:
Stage1: Evolves from Cubone
Marowak is the evolved form of a Cubone that has overcome its sadness at the loss of its mother and grown tough. This Pokémon's tempered and hardened spirit is not easily broken. The bone it holds is its key weapon. It throws the bone skillfully like a boomerang to KO targets. Marowak has been seen pounding boulders with the bone it carries in order to tap out messages to others. Where Marowak collects its bones from is unknown. A Marowak graveyard exists somewhere in the world, rumors say.

OH MY GOD IT'S A PINK COW!

Shit.

Better.

. . .
. . .
It. . . how did it. . . that was one of the oddest things I've ever seen a cow do.

STOP HEALING IT BEFORE I KO IT.

Jesus, I don't think any cow could be as annoying as that one.

Hmm. Cave system. Can't really plus or minus that.

An elephant . . . and it's the size of a pot-bellied pig. Lil' Pot-bellied Elephant.

#231. Phanpy J:Gomazou G:Phanpy F:Phanpy

Long Nose Pokémon
Height: 1'08" Weight: 73.9 lbs
Habitat: Grasslands Types:
Phanpy's big ears serve as broad fans. When it becomes hot, it flaps the ears busily to cool down. For its nest, Phanpy digs a vertical pit in the ground at the edge of a river. It marks the area around its nest with its trunk to let the others know that the area has been claimed. Phanpy uses its long nose to shower itself. When others gather around, they thoroughly douse each other with water. These Pokémon can be seen drying their soaking-wet bodies at the edge of water. As a sign of affection, it bumps with its snout. However, it is so strong, it may send you flying.

RedsRevenge named this.

Oh come on. This is easy as hell. There are Zelda puzzles harder than this.

Hmm. Seismic activity. That's a minus.

WiFi! :D

Brawly? Brawly, Brawly. . . nope. Never heard of him.

Behold! Probably the most useless hold-item ever. It's an item that ups Chansey's Crit-Hit rate. Not Blissey. Chansey. This is also the only place to find it in Gen3 except for one found on the Shadow Chansey in XD: Gale of Darkness.

Alright, water route. Oh boy.

This is just like in Sonic Adventure.

Wait, that's not exciting. That sucks.
That's a Minus.

There.. There's nothing in he-

WHAT IN FARORE'S NAME IS THAT?

#201. Unown J:Annon G:Icognito F:Zarbi

Symbol Pokémon
Height: 1'08" Weight: 11 lbs
Habitat: n/a Types:
This Pokémon is shaped like ancient writing. It is a mystery as to which came first, the ancient writings or the various Unown. Research into this topic is ongoing but nothing is known. Its flat, thin body is always stuck on walls. Its shape appears to have some sort of meaning. It is believed that the variety of types of of Unown were created by evolutionary adaptation, as each possesses a different ability.

Huh.

What the?

What could they be trying to tell me?

This sucks. Minus.

C'mon, let's get outta here. This island sucks.

Th-that . . . No, I. . .

Amaya drew the picture in this.

GET RID OF IT. GET RID OF IT

GOD JUST MAKE IT GO AWAAAAAAAY.

#227. Skarmory J:Airmd G:Panzaeron F:Airmure

Armor Bird Pokémon
Height: 5'07" Weight: 111.3 lbs
Habitat: Scrubland Types:
After nesting in bramble bushes, the wings of its chicks grow hard from scratches by thorns. Skarmory is entirely encased in hard, protective armor. Its sturdy wings look heavy, but they are actually hollow and light, allowing it to fly freely in the sky. This Pokémon flies at close to 190 mph. It slashes foes with its wings that possess swordlike cutting edges. Skarmory's steel wings become tattered and bashed in from repeated battles. Once a year, the battered wings grow back completely, restoring the cutting edges to their pristine state. People in the past used feathers fallen from Skarmory to make swords and knives.

I . . . I . . . !

This is like a million minuses. Fuck this island.
